As you probably know if you’ve read this blog for a while, I’m a firm supporter of open source and open standards. What you probably don’t know is that I also am an Apple fan of sorts.
The only Apple object I own is an iPod Shuffle, but I believe that nobody does consumer computers better than Apple. And their software is, in many ways, just as good…except for one detail…their office software doesn’t support Open Document Formats…and I think it’s about time they do.
If you agree and think it’s time Apple supports ODF, then go sign the Apple Support for Open Document Format Petition. Let’s hope it manages to make Steve at least think about it.
