The New Home! :)

Category: Admin | >

As you may have noticed, the blog has moved.

We’ve gone to a new domain and a new host, after being hosted by the UANL LUG for over a year (almost 18 months). I want to thank Edgar and Juan Pablo for all their help and support for all that time.

And I also want to thank our new host, Chris, aka Handy from Solo Technology.

When he realized that linuxuanl.org has been having stability problems, he offered to host me on his server, and was a big help getting the new domain up and working even when he was more than ready for some sleep…thanks a lot, buddy :)

So…if any of my three readers finds a problem with anything, please let me know in a comment here.

Oh! The RSS feeds should work as they are without changes for you, tho you’ll need to change your bookmarks and any links you have to my site.

Let’s hope this is the last move for a few more years years :)

I see you’re settling in quite well. :-)
Thanks for the thanks, now get me some book reviews, beyotch!

Or hey, give us a nice review on Password Safe. I can’t live without it and I keep forgetting to write a bit about it. Are you, by chance, using it? A shared hero of ours was involved with it…

Actually, no, I’m not using it…I don’t use passwords, stopped using passwords a couple of years ago…now I do passphrases….around 40 characters, spaces and punctuation and numbers, but easy to remember…I don’t have to write em down anywhere :)

And I’m actually working on a review about the 3 S.M. Sterling books I just finished…I’ll probably finish it by the weekend :)
