A little belated, Jim Baen’s Status Report, 27-06-06

I didn’t get online yesterday, so…this is a bit late, but it’s here anyway, from Toni to Arnold, at the Bar, as usual:

I’m afraid I don’t have any good news to report from the hospital. Jim’s condition is no better.

I would like to profoundly thank all the Barflies and other folks who
have been sending their support for me and Jessica and the rest of the
extended Baen family. Jess and I very much appreciate the packages,
too–there are some very good bakers out there!–and we’ll be sharing
the largesse with the ICU nurses who’ve been doing so much for Jim.
We’ve also been trying to take to heart the advice not to go overboard
ourselves. Especially we’ve been trying to make sure we get at least 10
minutes of outside time each day; that’s been a big help. You guys are
the best.

So, once again, please keep sending positive thoughts and prayers Jim’s way, and also to all the people who are taking care of him.
